Second graders will learn that all living things are connected to one another. Our young ecologists will discover how all life is dependent on plants. Students will learn the concepts of pollination, and how seeds are made and dispersed (travel). They will conduct experiments investigating how light and water influence plant growth. Next we will connect our knowledge of plants to food chains and food webs found all around the Earth. Lastly, the students will research a habitat and present their information to their classmates.
